    Our challenge was to increase visibility of Rhineland-Palatinate as an interesting nearby holiday destination for Belgians. In addition, the goal was to highlight the various assets of the region while also generating visibility for the region as a whole.

    Our solution

    To make Belgians aware of the many possibilities of Rhineland-Palatinate and to make it a top of mind destination for a nearby get-away, we distributed seasonal press releases on the culinary, hiking, cycling and festive offer of Rhineland-Palatinate. Each year, we also invited bloggers and journalists to discover the region during an individual or a group trip. By setting up media collaborations with major media outlets we were able to inspire a big part of the Belgian population. On top of that, Sound of C organized a C-Soirée with Belgian travel and culinary influencers and bloggers including a wine tasting.

    Thanks to the extended media coverage and media partnerships with high level media such as VAB Magazine and Weekend Knack, Rhineland-Palatinate has established a position as a German destination of choice for Belgians.
